The case Goodwood, Floresteca and ATF
Our main case concerns the largest teakwood investment fraud in the Netherlands. More than 13,000 investors collectively invested over €300 million in teak plantations in Brazil via Goodwood Investments B.V., Amazon Teak Foundation (ATF), and Floresteca. The expected returns — estimated by independent appraisers at €2.4 billion and by Floresteca itself at €4 to €5 billion — have never been (fully) paid out to the investors.
BFRG is conducting a mass claim on behalf of more than 1,700 victims to recover their lost investments. Through highly thorough forensic investigation by our investigators and lawyers, the claim for the recovery of the invested capital has been made legally possible. Our lawyers are of the opinion that this is a solid case with a good chance of success.
